Hey there,

I am Colin Davis the owner of Five Point Training. I started coaching in 2020, have been lifting weights since I was 12 and hope to be lifting weights for the rest of my life.

I started out coaching because I love seeing people fall in love with lifting. I was fortunate enough to have guidance and support throughout my journey into the strength training world and nothing brings me joy like being able to provide that guidance to other people while they navigate the confusing landscape of strength training.

Strength training has given me the ability to keep my body functioning through multiple major injuries, the ability to use my body how I want to outside of the gym, an outlet for physical expression, and the confidence to help others through this medium.

I hope to pass on my love for strength training to everyone I work with. I also want to make you self sufficient and competent in the gym so you can continue to train effectively even if I am no longer coaching you.

 FAQs

  • You will receive your custom program through the TrainHeroic app. You will be sent a sign up email and will then be able to access your training plan week to week through the app. TrainHeroic allows me to see the workouts you have logged and make adjustments as needed in your programming.

  • I have office hours 4 days a week where I am reachable to ask any questions concerning your training and you will have the option for a weekly check in call to discuss how your training is going and what changes need to be made so that you can be most successful!

  • Custom programming means your workout plan is written specifically for you with your goals in mind. After our initial consultation I will write out a plan tailored for your needs and goals, this allows for you to take the guess work out of your training and perform at your best every week while making sustained progress.

  • You will be asked to record any movements that you need help learning and I will give you technique feedback from those videos. If needed a video call will be scheduled to give you feedback in real time as you are doing your workout.

  • Every week! Programs are typically planned in 6-8 week blocks however every week I look through the workouts logged in the previous week and make changes based on the information you provide me. This does not mean that you will have brand new workouts every week, it just allows us to work collaboratively to find movements and techniques that work for you.
